Self-propelled
Earn your turns with professionally licensed guides. Our Selkirk Mountains backcountry is BIG and offers multiple world-class backcountry skiing objectives. Many of our routes are easily accessed from Schweitzer lift service and the cat terrain. Routes further north aren’t so ”easy-access” but are still very attainable given you have enough experience, leg power—and perhaps a snowmobile.
Our guides also enjoy teaching the sport of backcountry travel to new folks. Skinning and splitboarding can be tricky to learn but aren’t difficult to master. Hook-up with one of patient guides if you’d like to learn: we can show you the process and provide feedback and coaching tips. When you sign up, you’ll simply mark the Experience category as Beginner.
Expert. Novice. Beginner. Slack. Big vertical. Because the sport has many intrinsic characteristics, we ask that you call us so we may gauge your objective and get you pointed in the right direction with registration.
Prior to booking, please read a brief letter from Ken as we would like to kindly emphasize our policies.
