Skiing through trees

Dropping from the Summer Solstice into the next season

With the summer solstice here, we can’t help but dream about shorter, darker winter days. Just the thought of riding untracked snow through snow-covered trees gets our hearts racing! Brrr.

Over the next few months, we’re going into full-court press on cats, maintenance, slopes, and marketing. To the marketing end, we’re excited to release some fresh videos of last year’s helicopter and cat skiing.Enjoy!

Stoked! Only five months till winter!

Heli skiing Session with Cody Carter

March 28, 2021 was a fun day with videographer Cody Carter and Spokane-based athlete Nick Rizzuto joining us to film a day of heli-skiing. Enjoy this two-minute version of the eight-hour day. Give particular attention to the skiing through the little fir trees in the magical Selkirk snowpack. Priceless!

A new look at cat skiing

Join Colby Trudell as he’s captured by Cody Carter cat skiing with us in January. Enjoy this mash-up of drone flights, smearing pow, popping off rocks, and jibbing off trees! All in a good days fun with us!

2021–2022 dates

Just a quick word about pre-season reservations: because questions are still swirling about the Canadian border opening, and there’s buzz about what effect the Ikon Pass will have on Schweitzer skier visits, we haven’t seen traffic like this on the phone or web ever before. Good news: whenever you are ready, Ronnie and Alix are ready to take your reservations.
