If you dream having a snowmobile tour business of your own, we especially welcome your inquiry for more information. Selkirk Powder possesses the snowmobiling portion of LU 100073 Commercial Land Use Permit and is open to discuss a sale of this permit. This permit allows for guided snowmobiling on all groomed roads on the east side of Priest Lake managed by the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL).

Details

The permit area consists of 188,000 acres in Priest Lake State Forest on the east side of Priest Lake. Allowed usage includes guided snowmobiling on the groomed trails with potential access to other IDL harvest roads with prior authority. No off-trail riding is offered with this permit but may be added with consultation and amendments in future renewals (subject to state authority). The permit has no date restrictions nor maximum use-days. Potential exists for expanding guided opportunities into the Panhandle National Forest. For the Winter “Time of Your Life”…

Wow! What an AMAZING experience we had last Sunday (01.15.23) snowmobiling on Schweitzer Mountain! Our guide, Sage, was professional, flexible, knowledgeable and down right FUN! The machines were beautiful, new and so easy to operate. Our afternoon two hour trip took us by stunning vistas, with a terrific mountain valley photo shoot stop. All the Selkirk Powder Staff were so helpful, friendly, and pleasantly professional. We can’t wait to come back! My 74 year old husband was riding for the FIRST TIME…and now he’s HOOKED!
