Getting here

There are no narrow mountain roads, high passes, nor tunnels to navigate as you travel to our new location near the southern end of Priest Lake. Below we’ve provided a different sets of directions depending on your point of origin. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call. Better yet, text us so the message goes through when service becomes spotty – save our number now or load our entire contact card.

Winter road closures

If you are coming from the Schweitzer area, Google Maps and other apps may suggest a seemingly shorter route through Baldy Mountain Road. However, this road is closed during the winter (and is a rough mountain pass during the summer). Do not try this route. Instead, use the route that takes U.S. Hwy 2 along Pend Oreille River and through the town of Priest River.

Mobile reception

There’s potential for spotty-to-zero mobile reception for visitors. We recommend that you download directions to avoid stress so you can still arrive on time even if you lose service.

Lodging

Guests coming from out of the area are encouraged to find accommodations in the Priest Lake or Priest River area. Coolin is the closest town to the staging area at 8 mi away.
