That’s a wrap! So many people to thank

Dear Fellow Fun-Seekers:

The last patches of snow have almost melted away. As we find our conversations occupied by mountain biking and wakeboarding, we realize we are again saying goodbye to winter and looking forward to summer.

This is a good time to look back and thank all the people that made this very challenging season a success, and we need not look far: it’s you, our customers, who bravely put yourself in uncomfortable situations, kindly wore a mask everywhere, diligently applied hand sanitizer, and patiently answered questions posed by friends and family about travel during these trying times—all in search of fresh pow!

We get it, and we want to personally thank you for coming to ski and snowmobile with us. We saw a huge increase of guests who visited us for the first time; most of you were unable to travel to the vast quiet zones in Canada you first had in mind, but you still sought that experience, and we’re thrilled you chose us!

Special thanks go to Shannon & Andy Mahre with Mahre Made—we look forward to seeing you again next season; Schweitzer Mountain for keeping the lifts running; and, let’s not forget, all of our guides, drivers, and reservation staff who committed to working through the most challenging season we have ever seen.

Your feedback has rekindled our thoughts about the future, and the comments on our website and social media were awesome! We learned we have a lot more to offer yet still need to improve in some areas all in the hope you will come see us again.

Next season, we will offer a powder alert via text—the Pow Bell! For example, we will send notifications when the helicopter is flying or if last-minute cat-skiing seats are available. If you would like to sign-up, please visit the Pow Bell sign-up page.

Thank you from Selkirk Powder.
